Feedback accepted: Egypt grows from 8 to 31 kite spots

The first release had eight locations

The first Egypt release contained eight scored locations: El Gouna · Kitepower, two Soma Bay centres — 7BFT and Surfmotion — Zafarana, plus four island routes: Abu Mungar, Tawila, Geisum and Umm al-Haymat.

We began with these places because coordinates, working directions, forecast data and several direct camera or live sources could be assembled for them. However, the regional title suggested broader Egypt coverage than the product actually had. Riders rightly pointed out how many established destinations were missing.

Now: 31 spots across eight Egyptian regions

The new country structure covers Greater Hurghada and El Gouna; Soma Bay and Safaga; Marsa Alam and Hamata; Ras Sudr and the Gulf of Suez; Dahab; Sharm El Sheikh and Nabq Bay; northern kite-safari islands; and the Mediterranean North Coast.

Each spot separates water type, rider level, season, wind context, access, shore or boat logistics, risks, camera or live source, and map action. When no verified camera was found, the portal says so rather than substituting a forecast or an unrelated feed.

What you can use today

Open the Egypt page, choose a region, select a map point and read its spot card. A camera or live page is linked where a source exists, alongside an area map. Island entries explain boat logistics instead of directing drivers to a coordinate in open water.

The Hurghada planner still scores the original eight verified locations. The other 23 receive no invented index; forecast coverage will be added only after launch coordinates, working sectors, local rules, cameras and rescue context are checked.
