Egypt kite spots now covered
The Hurghada region combines shore and boat-access scenarios. El Gouna, two Soma Bay stations and Zafarana are listed on the coast; Abu Mungar, Tawila, Geisum and Umm al-Haymat represent island routes. They are not equally close to the city or suitable for the same rider level.
Each listing separates coordinates, working wind sector, water type, rider level, shore or boat access, spot guide, camera or live source where available, and navigation. Island locations are explicitly marked as supported boat routes rather than independent beaches.
How Hurghada differs from Saint Petersburg
Saint Petersburg can use a network of coastal sensors. Around Hurghada, live information is distributed across individual stations, while the airport METAR is only an independent observation at HEGN and not a beach reading.
Logistics also differ. El Gouna and Soma Bay are shore stations, while Tawila, Geisum, Abu Mungar and Umm al-Haymat require a boat, crew and captain's decision. A model forecast at an island coordinate does not confirm access, rescue or a safe return.
