One service in two familiar messengers
We launched @kite_plus_ai_bot on Telegram and the Kite + AI bot on MAX. Choose the social platform you prefer; the logic is shared. The bot asks for kite size, weight and level, then compares the forecast, available observations and spot-specific wind directions around Saint Petersburg.
Both bots work in Russian and English. Access is connected to the project's official channels, where we publish data-source changes, new cameras, model explainers and concise wind notes.
What the bots can do
The main flow answers a practical question: which Saint Petersburg spot is worth checking more closely today for a particular twin-tip, kite and rider profile. When a promising option is found, the bot shows the spot and opens the forecast, a relevant camera and a route.
A separate command opens the camera and live-source catalogue by country. Every link shows its type and last-check status. A camera can reveal visibility and the water surface, but it does not by itself measure a safe wind speed or direction.

How to start
Open the bot in Telegram or MAX, subscribe to the corresponding official project channel and tap the membership check button. Then choose a language and answer three short questions. The bots do not need your name, phone number or free-form comments for the calculation.

The bot informs; the rider still decides
The result is a promising option for an additional check, not a promise of a safe session. A model and a shore sensor can disagree, a camera can be stale, and local gusts, storms, ice, obstacles, access and rescue availability can change faster than any forecast.
Before travelling, check observation freshness and the camera. On shore, reassess actual wind, shore-relative direction, clear space, obstacles, rescue, equipment and your own condition. For a student, the instructor makes the final decision.
